Solution 1- Make sure that Proper Physical Connection is Established between Your Modem and Router

First you need to check your modem and your router are connected with each other properly. In case, a red message appears on your screen that means your WAN port is unplugged on the router status page. Means, your modem is not properly connected with your modem. 

Insert the modem wire in the WAN port, check if the screen is showing the message again or not. In case, the message gets removed then great, if the message shows again then the error lies elsewhere. 

Solution 2- Reset your Router IP Address

Usually, The TP-Link routers have 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 as their default IP address; this may encounter with the present range of your router device. Because of this reason, your router device fails to connect with your modem, which more leads to internet connectivity issues.

If you want to fix an issue, one needs to change the LAN IP address of the router from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.2.1. To change the IP address of the router, first click on Network and then go to LAN that is given on the left of the menu. If resetting your TP-Link router helps you fix the issue, then great but in case that does not happen.
